SuccessBound GearUp!

success bound gearup logoThe buzz about employment opportunities in Industry 4.0 will be discussed during an educational summit offered by Ohio Tech Prep Southwest Region in collaboration with employers of the Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership (AMIP) and Partners for a Competitive Workforce. SuccessBound Gear Up! will be offered March 18, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Cooper Creek Event Center, 4040 Creek Road, Blue Ash, Ohio. 

The program is designed for educators, employers and community leaders to support collaboration, work-based learning and innovative pathways to meet skill requirements for Industry 4.0 advanced manufacturing employment.

State and local presenters include Bernie Gosky, project manager Ohio TechNet Entrepreneurship Innovation Instutute; John Sherwood, Workforce Project Manager, Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation; Amy Meyer, Chair, Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership (AMIP) Rhinestahl; Chris Leedy, AMIP Vice Chair, Pilot Chemical; BJ Knutson, Apprenticeship Service Provider, Apprentice Ohio and more.

Other presenters represent Ohio Departments of Education and Higher Education; Cincinnati State, Miami University, Sinclair Community College, University of Cincinnati, Jobs Ohio, Adecco and area high school and career center representatives who will share resources and best practices. Registration is limited.
